My ideal life - La mia vita ideale

A little less than two weeks ago I showed you a sketch for a mixed media piece I was creating, following a prompt from Dana Mrkich to make art that represents what we would like for our life. Here is the finished piece and, as you can see, in my ideal world there are various animals and plants, lots of land, at least one other human of un-specified sex and two dwellings that are a cross between a trullo, a yurt and a teepee. From the landscape it could be Italy or California or maybe somewhere else. The human that ideally represents me is sitting cross-legged, which means that my knee, currently recovering from torn cartilage, will be healed.
What you can't see from the photo is that the sphere behind the tree is an iridescent moon, and that there is glitter on the heart, the bird, the ribbons, my hair and in the eyes of each animal. Yes, a giant moon is out in plain daylight, but it's my world, after all!

Poco meno di due settimane fa vi ho mostrato uno schizzo per un pezzo mixed-media che stavo creando, a seguito del suggerimento di Dana Mrkich di creare qualcosa che rappresentasse come desideriamo che sia la nostra vita. Sotto e` il pezzo finito e, come potete vedere, nel mio mondo ideale vi sono vari animali e piante, parecchio terreno, almeno un altro essere umano di sesso non specificato e due dimore che sono un incrocio fra un trullo, una yurta e una tepee indiana. Dal paesaggio ci si potrebbe trovare in Italia o in California o forse da qualche altra parte. L'essere umano che idealmente mi rappresenta e` seduta con le gambe incrociate, il che significa che il mio ginocchio, che attualmente si sta riprendendo da una lesione alla cartilagine, e` guarito. 
Quello che non vedete dalla foto e` che la sfera dietro all'albero e` una luna iridescente e che vi e` del glitter sul cuore, sull'uccello, sui nastri, sui miei capelli e negli occhi di ciascun animale. Si`, c'e` una grandissima luna in cielo in pieno giorno...beh, e` il mio mondo, dopo tutto!
