So many trulli - tanti trulli

I have a guest staying with me these days and we are touring the local countryside. Yesterday we visited the strange and enchanting town of Alberobello. The entire area I live in is dotted with trulli, which are particularly abundant in an area called La Valle d'Itria, however, Alberobello is the only town whose entire historic center is nothing but trulli. Unfortunately I forgot my camera so I had to resort to these postcards to show you what it looks like.

In questi giorni ho con me un'ospite a cui sto mostrando la zona circostante. Ieri abbiamo visitato lo strano e incantevole paese di Alberobello. L'intera zona in cui vivo e` cosparsa di trulli, che sono particolarmente abbondanti nella Valle d'Itria, tuttavia, Alberobello e` l'unico paese dove l'intero centro storico e` costituito da trulli. Sfortunamente ho dimenticato la macchina fotografica ed ho dovuto ricorrere a queste due cartoline per farvela vedere. 

Today I drove the Ceglie Messapica to Cisternino road to find out how to get to the Bhole Baba ashram, because starting on Sunday I will be attending an eleven session course there entitled The organic and biodinamic garden and peasants arts. All I was able to photograph along the way were these two shots.

Oggi abbiamo preso la strada che va da Ceglie Messapica a Cisternino per scoprire come si arriva all'ashram Bhole Baba, visto che da domenica vi seguiro` un corso intitolato L'orto e il giardino biologico/biodinamico e le arti contadine.
