Nature walk under the full moon - Passeggiata al chiaro di luna

On Friday night I went to the Masseria LoJazzo for a walk through fields and over stone outcroppings, with just the light of the full moon. We felt the dry grass, the stones and the earth under our feet and smelled the wild thyme. For a good explanation of what a "masseria" is you can go here.
This particular masseria was used to house farm animals and inhabited by laborers. It is now beautifully restored by the owners and used from June to September for theatrical, musical, educational and culinary events. I'll be going back for another event on September 1st for a celebration of local music and food, but unfortunately I will not be able to attend their all night cartoon marathon tonight with concert and breakfast at dawn tomorrow morning.
In the dark all I was able to get was this grainy photo of the stalls that once housed the animals.
Venerdi` notte sono stata alla Masseria LoJazzo per una passeggiata attraverso campi e pietre, con la sola  luce della luna piena. Sentivamo sotto ai piedi l'erba secca, le pietre, la terra e di tanto in tanto le narici ci si riempivano del profumo del timo selvatico. In questa particolare masseria alloggiavano un tempo i contadini e venivano custoditi gli animali. E` stata accuratamente restaurata dai proprietari e viene usata da giugno a settembre per eventi teatrali, musicali, educativi e culinari. Vi ritornero` il primo settembre per una serata di musica e degustazioni, ma sfortunatamente non potro` partecipare alla maratona di cartoon che si terra` questa notte con concerto e colazione all'alba di domani. Al buio sono riuscita a scattare solo questa foto sfuocata di quelle che una volta erano le stalle.
